Hifadhi

About Hifadhi

A server that dies, a bad update or one wrong bulk delete can cost you years of sales, stock and customer records. Hifadhi makes sure there is always a recent copy you can get back.

It backs up your ERPNext site every day at the times you choose - the database and every attached file - and emails you a download link after each one. The link alone is not enough to download: opening it asks for a one-time code sent to your WhatsApp through Njiwa, so someone who gets into your email still cannot take your data.

You decide how many backups to keep and for how long, pin the ones that matter, and see everything on one Backups page. If a backup fails, or backups stop, Hifadhi emails you.

What it does

  • Backups on your schedule

Every day at the times you set, such as midnight and noon. A run missed during a restart is still made.

  • Everything in one file

Database plus public and private attachments, or database only. Your site's secret keys are never included.

  • Download link by email

After each backup you get an email with a link to download it - no server login needed.

  • Code on WhatsApp

The link opens only with a one-time 6-digit code sent to your WhatsApp through Njiwa. Five wrong tries and it locks.

  • Keep what you need

Keep the newest few backups and delete anything older than a set number of days. Pin a backup to keep it for good.

  • Backups page

Last good backup, next run, storage used, and Download, Email link, Pin and Delete on every backup.

  • Warnings that matter

An email when a backup fails, and a daily warning while there is no recent good backup.

  • Download log

Every download is recorded: when, from where, and whether from the desk or an emailed link.

Compatibility

ERPNext v15, v16

How maintenance works

Your licence is yours to keep. It includes 12 months of updates and support. After that, maintenance is optional and covers fixes when platforms change their APIs, compatibility with new ERPNext versions, new features and support. If you skip maintenance, the app keeps working on the versions you bought it for. Rejoining after a lapse costs 40% of the current licence price.

Questions

Do I need Njiwa?

For WhatsApp codes, yes - you add your Njiwa API key in the settings. Without it you can have codes sent by email instead, which is less safe because the link and code reach the same inbox.

Where are the backups stored?

In your own site's private folder on your server, never on ours. The emailed link downloads straight from your site.

How do I restore a backup?

Each backup is a standard Frappe backup in one file. The included guide shows the one bench command to restore it.

Which versions does it support?

Frappe and ERPNext v15 and v16.

Can I get my money back?

Yes - every licence has a 14-day money-back guarantee.
